Like other baffles, the top baffle on the Stanley Cara and Cara Glass Insert helps to trap and retain heat within the combustion chamber. By preventing heat from escaping too quickly up the flue, the top baffle promotes more efficient combustion of the wood fuel and increases heat output.

Similar to other baffles, the top baffle shields the flue outlet from direct exposure to high temperatures, helping to prevent damage to flue components and extend their lifespan.

Top Baffle is suitable for Stanley Cara Insert and Stanley Cara Glass Insert replacement. See exploded view part 27 for both.
